Bet365 is one of the most prominent and popular online bookmakers around. We’ve bet with bet365 a lot in the past and decided to take a more in-depth look at their sports betting offer. If you’re thinking about signing up, check out our bet365 review.

- Our verdict
Welcome bonus: 4.5/5
At the bet365 sportsbook, a 100% welcome bonus is served up on your first deposit. Any deposit of £10 or higher will qualify, meaning you can fund your account with an amount you are comfortable with. The big hitters out there can claim up to £200 in bonus funds, the maximum amount for this offer.
The most inconvenient thing about this offer is without doubt the turnover requirement attached to the bet365 bonus terms and conditions. You must make wagers totalling three times the combined deposit and bonus amount before you can cash out any remaining bonus funds and winnings. Certain bets will not contribute to this requirement.
You won’t find more than that with other online bookies, so fill your boots if you want to claim the biggest sports betting bonus around; that’s our advice!
Betting markets: 4.5/5
Bet365 allows betting on over 30 different types of sport, from the most popular for UK bettors like football, cricket and racing, to lesser known disciplines.
As they have customers all over the world, you can see that some sports are included based on their geographical appeal. Examples of this are bandy and floorball, which are popular in Scandinavia, and harness racing, which is better known Down Under than in the UK.
Anything that could be classed as a ‘major’ sporting event always has a comprehensive choice of pre-match and in-play betting options, like Asian Handicaps for football and ball-by-ball betting on tennis or cricket with the cool Match Live interface, as shown below.
We’re tempted to take points off for constantly referring to football as ‘soccer’, but that would just be mean, wouldn’t it? All in all, bet365 is one of the best all-rounders around for its range of betting markets.
We’ve always found bet365 to have very good odds across the board. They might not always be best price on every selection, but when comparing odds on multiple matches, for example on a Premier League match weekend, they tend to outperform the other top bookies. It’s generally the same story on other popular betting sports, like tennis, racing and cricket.
What’s more, the range of offers that bet365 make available to its existing customers create extra value on odds. For example, there are winnings boosts on accumulators for several different sports, including football, tennis, basketball, Aussie Rules and North American sports. That gives you better odds on your multiples, which are always an exciting type of bet for following the action over a round of matches.
Mobile app: 4/5
Bet365 has a smooth running and easy to use app, which you can use to bet on all markets from your mobile device.
The design is simple, like that of the website itself, so you can find your way around and get your bets on with no problem.
Other features include live streaming, touch ID login, cash out and the Match Live interface for in-play betting.
It’s not going to blow your mind, but it certainly gets the job done and we rate the bet365 app as a truly solid performer.

Payment options: 5/5
Bet365 gets full marks on payments as they are open to more or less any type of payment method imaginable. Here is the list of accepted payment methods shown on their website:
- Debit card
- Credit card
- Skrill 1-Tap
- Bank Wire
- FastBank Transfer
None of these payment methods incur a fee for depositing or withdrawing funds, while the minimum and maximum payment limits are reasonable.
Best of all, bet365 is eWallet friendly when it comes to its bonus code offer. Some bookmakers exclude users of this kind of payment method from participating in their welcome offers, but that’s not the case with bet365.
Customer service: 5/5
With help available 24/7 across a choice of contact methods, we can find no fault with bet365 customer service.
Your options include telephone, email, live chat or snail mail, although we don’t imagine there are many cases when you would want to send a bookmaker a letter through the post.
We know from experience that waiting and response times are always good with bet365; we’ve never had to wait longer than a minute or so to be connected on live chat and it’s usually immediate.
It’s rare to hear stories of bet365 treating customers unfairly, but of course let us know if you have a bad experience as we take the views of our readers into account when writing our reviews.
Live streaming: 4/5
It’s unlikely to be the deciding factor in which bookmaker you choose to sign up with, but streaming options are nevertheless becoming more and more important.
Bet365 has one of the best streaming offers out there, with a surprising amount of decent footy shown live. That includes top-level club and international matches from other continents like Asia and South America, as well as the occasional top-level match.
In December 2016, bet365 and a few other bookmakers showed the El Clasico league match between Real Madrid and Barcelona, which amazingly wasn’t shown on any TV channels in the UK. We wonder if there will be similar instances in the future.
If you’ve made it all the way through our bet365 review, you can no doubt tell that we are big fans of this online bookmaker. They have a great selection of betting markets, with very competitive odds.
In-play betting with bet365 is a really pleasant and hassle-free experience. We love the creative Match Live interface and the fact you can watch some top quality footy on the live streaming is even better.
We found betting with a smartphone or tablet simple and intuitive, so there’s nothing to worry about if you only like to bet on mobile.
Finally, bet365 accept every common type of payment method and also have excellent customer service.
We would like to see a more diverse range of promos for existing bettors, but it’s hard to cite any other areas where improvement is needed.
The only slight gripe we had (apart from bet365’s insistence on calling football ‘soccer’) was with the somewhat tricky terms and conditions on the new account offer.
That said, the bet365 bonus code offer still offers great value, with up to £200 in extra bonus cash to start out betting.
|What we like||What we don’t like|
|✅ High value bonus for new players||❌Complicated terms on new account offer|
|✅Innovative live betting interface||❌Slightly limited promos for existing customers|
|✅ Flawless customer service|
